Commercial Transport & Freight Services Victorian Residents have been classified as Schedule 2 Essential Travellers (restricted). ALL DRIVERS MUST APPLY FOR A PERMIT & CARRY IT WITH THEM AT ALL TIMES. Applications can be made at the SAPol website https://www.police.sa.gov.au//cross-border-travel-applicat Drivers MUST self-quarantine when NOT working, whilst in South Australia - for the duration of their journey. Drivers MUST wear a surgical face mask (covering mouth and nose) in South Australia when coming into contact with the public A record of close contact MUST be kept for the period of your journey & retained for 28 days (this has not changed from previous requirements.) 04.01.2022 The Governments commitment to slashing red tape and improving road safety will boost the economy, create jobs and save lives, ATA Chair David Smith said today.... In an address to the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia, Prime Minister Scott Morrison (ScoMo) pointed out that: Trucks were allowed to resupply along roads and during hours where they were previously banned. And the sun came up the next day.
