18.01.2022 Our rescue of the week.. Kane is 2 year old mastiff X He is a very friendly and social boy who would make a great companion to a selected home, preferably an older family. ... Kane has previously lived as an only dog and would be happiest as the only pet in the household but if introduced slowly, may be able to be with another dog his size. Kane walks well on lead but is still learning his manners so would benefit from some ongoing training. Kane loves his walks and playtime and needs room to run. He is a very happy and affectionate boy who needs an understanding family to work with him and give him time to settle in Kane is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed. We need more people to HELP out at the shelter Mondays to Saturday...s Some of our amazing regular volunteers are away at the moment on well deserved breaks and our awesome uni students have assesment so we are currently short helpers. We are also getting in more dogs so we really need your help!!!! If you can help please be at the shelter at 7:30am wearing covered walking shoes, hat, sunscreen and bring plenty of water. The dogs must be walked everyday, even if it is raining If you can't walk the dogs that's ok we need help cleaning the pens, putting clean bedding down for the dogs and feeding the dogs Remember to still practice social distancing and wash your hands please We are located at 2107 Rosewood-Laidley Rd, Laidley next to the Laidley Saleyards. If you want you can always give Ludelle a quick call to let her know you are coming or just show up. Her number is 0419731459. It's only a few hours of your time but it is a truly rewarding experience. What do we learn in puppy classes? Some of the things our puppies and owners will learn are sit, drop, stay and recall we also learn basic home problems and most importantly to socialise.
