17.01.2022 The Borenore community will come together to honour servicemen and women at its 6th annual commemoration in recent times. It will be held on Anzac Day commenci...ng 1:00pm at the Borenore CWA Hall. Afterwards, thanks to the CWA members, Soup, Damper, Cuppa and Anzac Biscuits will be served. Two significant memorials in Borenore’s history were held; 26th April 1921 at the Borenore Railway station when the districts WWI honour board was unveiled and 19 April 1952 at the Borenore CWA Hall for the unveiling of the WW II honour board. On this same day the WWI honour board was moved from the railway station to the CWA hall. Please come and join us. Thanks Bernie
