25.01.2022 Hey Beautiful ladies! I hope you all have had a fabulous weekend and are looking forward to smashing goals in this coming week! I'd just like to start off by introducing myself as the new "Postee" for the Born for More Fitness Pages. I myself am a Personal Trainer and have also just about finished a degree in Human Nutrition and Health Science. So you could say I know a thing or two about health! As most of us know, Janessa is a very busy lady, but wants her online/social me...dia activity, active, to keep all us women up to date, connecting and supporting each other! This means my job will be creating and posting all sorts of things to do with fitness, health and leisure! Feedback and requests are very welcome, as is connecting, getting involved in posts and hopefully learning some new things! I am so excited to get started and interact with all of you beautiful women through the online world! In terms of nutrition, if what you’re putting in equals what you’re putting out, you will not gain fat, it simply won’t and can’t happen! If you go over your energy input vs energy output, this is time you will need to worry/be cautious about weight gain.

18.01.2022 Foodie Friday! Its almost the end of the week my gorgeous girls and all I can say is keep up the good work and treat yo' self with a delicious dinner this Friday night! What you put into your body is equally as important as how you take care of your body on the physical level. The good news: Tons of ingredients and food options can help you lose weight, increase metabolism, and stay satisfied throughout the day. ... Check out this vegetarian peanut-butter noodles: Peanut butter is high in healthy monounsaturated fats, making it a solid part of any weight-loss recipe. Ginger may be able to reduce feelings of hunger and rev up metabolism, too. Ingredients 1/4 cup peanut butter 1 tablespoon soy sauce 1 tablespoon agave or sweetener of choice 2 tablespoons water 1 clove garlic, minced 1 teaspoon minced ginger 1/2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (or rice wine vinegar) 1 teaspoon sesame oil 1/2 teaspoon sriracha (or other red chili sauce) 4 oz soba noodles 3/4 cup julienned cucumber 1 scallion, diced 1/4 cup peanuts, for garnish (optional) 1/2 scallion, diced, for garnish (optional) Directions Combine first nine ingredients (peanut butter through sriracha) to form a sauce, mixing well until thoroughly blended and smooth. Cook soba noodles according to package directions and cover in cold water as soon as removed from heat. Once cool (about 20 to 30 seconds), drain noodles, and toss with sauce, scallions, and cucumber. Top with peanuts and additional scallions, if desired. Enjoy!

04.01.2022 Technique Tuesday: SKIN THE CATS! Switch up your usual grind with a few of these fun guys! Benefits include:... - Increased grip and core strength - Increased shoulder mobility - Increased breath-holding skills Callisthenics and functional styles of training can be enjoyed by anyone, no matter their fitness level. How to start: 1) Hang body weight from the bar (you can select any bar height that feels comfortable for you) 2) Tuck your knees up with speed and roll body back (like you would a rolley-poley) while holding onto the bar 3) Touch feet to bar and come back down the same way you went up! 4) If you’re more mobile through your shoulders and want an extra challenge, swing your feet and legs through your arms as far back as your body will allow and pull yourself back through (like I’ve shown in this video). 5) If you feel like you can’t bring your body back through, you can always jump back down again!
