25.01.2022 Australia's Biggest Morning Tea in the Afternoon is coming to Launching Place. On June 1, 1:30pm to 3:00pm at Wickhams Reserve, Wickhams Road, Launching Place c...lub rooms we will be holding our Biggest Morning Tea in the Afternoon to cure cancer, we've all lost someone to this beast. Surprise Guest Speaker at 2:15pm $10 Entry - Free entry if you are entering into the Baking Competition as below The afternoon will consist of: 1. Baking Competition $10 entry and the winner receives a Biggest Morning Tea Apron. (4 sections - Best Cake & Best Scone - Junior & Senior) judged by a panel and then devoured by all the guests 2. Place the cherry on the pancake stack - $2 per shot (a fun take on pin the tail on the donkey), if you place the cherry exactly on the pancakes you will win a Biggest Morning Tea Towel 3. Guess which cup contains the Tea - $5 per round - the winner receives a Biggest Morning Tea Mug We will also have other merchandise for purchase. Bottomless Tea or Coffee between 1:30pm and 3:00pm. Darwin in July 2020 - please see below. 6 games of cricket cultural & environmental experience ventures approx cost ( fluctuates around airfares!): $2,300 all inclusive - registration, airfare, transport, meals, accommodation, uniform, cultural activities, tourism (jumping Crocs etc) NT Cricket wrote (content I might add is targeted more so at the boys!): (the last paragraph is the most pertinent ) DARWIN JUNIOR STRIKE LEAGUE JULY SCHOOL HOLIDAYS, 2020 Launched in 2019 as an U15s competition featuring 3 NT teams and 4 teams from across NSW, QLD & VIC. Focus of the tournament is to replicate CA Underage National Championships to aid preparation and development of elite juniors during the July school holiday period. 2020 tournament to feature an U18s & U16s 50 over competition comprising 6 boys teams each, with the potential to also host an U18s girls T20 competition subject to interest. Each team to play 5 matches plus a final, with the aim to ensure the highest standard possible through the participation of teams from State Association academy programs, private cricket academies or private school teams In addition to the cricket, NT Cricket will facilitate cultural and tourist activities on rest days to enable players to explore the sights of the Top End. 08.01.2022 Cricket Without Borders Tour 2020 Late last year we sought Expressions of Interest form players for a proposed tour to Sri Lanka in the June/July school holida...ys this year. For a number of reasons we are now planning to defer our tour to Sri Lanka until a later date but following communication with the Malaysian Cricket Association and Royal Selangor Club we are now looking at a tour to Malaysia in the July school holidays later this year which promises to be another wonderful experience for the CWOB team. Expressions of Interest from players aged 15-22 are still open for the tour to Malaysia and can be forwarded to [email protected] outlining your playing experience and personal attributes you would bring to Cricket Without Borders.
