16.01.2022 Lifting of the Precautionary Boil Water Advisory. Yarra Valley Water, after consultation with the Department of Health and Human Services and Melbourne Water, advises customers that the Boil Water Advisory issued on 28 August 2020 is now lifted across all suburbs. Water quality testing has confirmed that the water supply in the network is safe to drink.... It is recommended that customers flush internal taps for two minutes to draw fresh water into their internal plumbing. We monitor water quality across our network on an ongoing, daily basis to ensure it's of a high quality for our customers. We sincerely thank you for your patience while we have worked to confirm the safety of drinking water and apologise for the inconvenience.
