20.01.2022 Overnight we received a note along with videos and photographs from our wonderful colleagues in Turkey wanting our past tour members to know that although we are not there in person this year to honour our Anzacs, that on behalf of all Australians and New Zealanders we have not forgotten our soldiers who fought at Gallipoli. The sentiment comes from the heart and like us, they express great disappointment in the current world situation not permitting us to be on the shores of... Gallipoli once more (for John, the first time in 22 years) and thought to share this visual experience taken at the Anzac Commemorative Site at North Beach and also up at Lone Pine Memorial to remember your visits, or to experience a little of the emotions felt while standing on the landing beaches looking towards the Sphinx and up to the heights and what our Anzacs endured. We believe what they have done on our behalf is very special and depicts the friendship we share with once our enemies, is very strong 105 years later.. We will certainly be playing one, if not both early tomorrow morning on 25th April and hope that you enjoy them with your families as much as we will.
