22.01.2022 Under 15s Touch Gala Day Our boys have had a glorious day in Orange at the Western SSA under 15s Touch Gala Day, where they ended up finishing 3rd for the day(13 schools here). Huge wins over Bathurst, Orange and Cowra saw the boys into the semi-finals where they went down in a tight 1-3 loss to Dubbo College.... Amazing achievement for our small school. Mr Corcoran l Coach

15.01.2022 U15 Girls Touch Football Gala Day We arrived early, with the girls really pumped. Won the first game by forfeit, then a hard game against Orange High School, losing 6-0, which is a great score considering their large school population to select players from. 14.01.2022 Playground Garden The garden plot in the infants/primary playground is zooming ahead under the watchful eyes of students. The corn, which was planted from seed, is sure to be 'as high as an elephant's eye' very soon. Students enjoy watering the plants during their lunch and recess breaks. A big thank you to Jaimee for instigating this wonderful playground break-time alternative.... L Nosworthy I Publicity and Community Engagement

04.01.2022 'Beach to Bush' a hit at Boorowa Central School Infants and primary students enjoyed a visit from Surf Life Saving volunteers who delivered an educational incursion about beach and water safety. The volunteers travel to schools in all rural and remote areas of NSW on a mission to educate kids about all aspects of staying safe around the water. Boorowa Central school students had lots of fun engaging in the activities albeit on dry land. Apart from learning about beach and sun... safety, students were taught about rips and waves, sea creatures, basic first aid, rescues and getting help from a lifeguard.
