Boss Horse Arenas quality Aussie stabilising fibre works by binding with the sand to form an artificial roo...t structure, which emulates the natural properties of turf. The combination of fibres and sand stabilises the arena footing. This creates a superior cushioned footing that is wholly sympathetic with the horse, with the ability to reduce penetration and absorb impact. Therefore, it ensures that the risk of jarring to horses is minimal and that traction is increased. Boss fibres will give stability and consistency and help to retain moisture, thereby enhancing the performance of any sand surface. This revolutionary product is suitable for indoor or outdoor arenas. As with all fibres, optimum watering assists the sand and fibre to bind together and stabilise the arena footing. We use a fine sand to blend with the fibres. For best results grooming a fibre arena use a groomer/roller. With outdoor surfaces the need to water is determined by the current weather conditions and required during more or less the long dry spells in summer. However, indoor surfaces watering should be regarded as an important and routine maintenance procedure. See more
