I can’t stress enough how important it is to organise your bookings for at least six months of 2021. You can do so by going onto our online bookings platform by clicking the book now button on our fb page, or clicking the bookings link in our bio on Instagram. X

25.01.2022 Hi everyone! So, my plan was to wait until the announcement was made regarding confirmation of opening date... but! We’re at the point where I need to start organising myself. So, this is just a heads up, that I’ll be reorganising all clients appointments for the rest of the year throughout this week. Keeping in mind I have a rough of idea of what days and times suit you all. If you were booked in for a Wednesday at 2 for example over the last 8 weeks, I’m planning to rebook you for a similar time post October 26. 18.01.2022 5 PRO TIPS to keep your blonde glorious after you leave the salon! 1. Do not over use purple shampoo! Twice a month is typically all you need to keep your blonde looking expencive. Total results or matrix Biolage are my go to a for purple shampoo. 2. Your routine doesn't have to be complicated. A treatment once a fortnight to re hydrate and refresh does wonders for your colour AND the overall health of your hair. Use proffessional haircare products, they absolutely make th...e difference. 3. Just because the packaging says "colour protecting" doesn't mean it actually is. Do your research!!! Matrix Biolage/Kerestase/Olaplex are my top three for best haircare products that are in right now. 4. Did you know that heat can cause your colour to fade? And even yellow your blonde? A heat protecting spray/ serum (depending on your hair type) can make a world of difference to the longevity of your colour. It works as an invisible protective barrier, protecting your strands from environmental damage, heat etc. BUT some oils/serums can be tinted slightly yellow or orange, so be aware, this will make a difference. 5. Moisture and protein are key. Serums, leave ins, shampoos, conditioners, treatments. They all play a huge roll in keeping your blonde flawless. Once your hair is feeling dry or brittle, it's almost too late. Repair that hair and moisturize! X

I have now contacted 95% of you to reschedule your appointments for the rest of the year. It’s been a huge effort. I’ve had to fit in twelve weeks worth of full time bookings into two months of an already booked diary. So thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility. ... Please note, I know how desperate you all are to feel refreshed (me too), so I will contact you if an earlier appointment becomes available. Also, please note that my schedule is now so booked that there is no room for extra services etc. so please let me know exactly what you’re having if you can, and try not to change on the day as I most likely won’t have any wiggle room. Also please let me know if you need to cancel your appointment as soon as you know, as there is now a 50% cancellation fee if you cancel within 48 hours of your booking. Big love Brooke x

16.01.2022 Did you know, the simple art of washing your hair is not as well understood as you think! I am often asked how often should I be washing my hair? or does my conditioner go on the scalp?. It’s not as understood as you think. but it’s simple! If you’re hair is dirty. ... It’s time for a wash! But how do I know my hair is dirty?. Signs of wash time: Oily scalp Product build up Visibly oily Okay then what? When your hair is ready for a wash, it’s a matter of opening that cuticle, cleansing the inside and closing the cuticle again. Aka TWO shampoos, ONE conditioner. But won’t two shampoos dry it out too much? Not if it’s actually dirty AND not if you’re using the correct shampoo and conditioner x

16.01.2022 Hello! How are you all? I feel like I haven’t posted in ages! Well I kind of haven’t, I’ve simply tried to switch off and enjoy the time with my family. I hope you’re all enjoying yourselves (as best as we can in these conditions)... Just an update. For anyone who is still yet to organise the next 6-12 months of bookings, it’s a great idea to do so. Saturday’s are especially busy. And are almost booked for the year 2021. Roots packages are still being sent out weekly. If you need either a roots package, roots and ends package, or a toner package, please don’t hesitate to reach out. It’s only $100 for two applications!! In terms of opening our doors again, we are set to reopen September 14, as long as stage four restrictions lift. If they don’t, once again, I plan to reschedule all of you. () I am currently contemplating opening up for a 5th day as I currently only work 4. This will allow more of you to squeeze in, especially if you’ve missed out. If you have missed out on a sooner availability, I am planning to create an official wait list that you can pop your details on and I’ll contact you if an availability arises. So watch this space. In terms of retail products. I have posted a link at the top of this page which allows you to purchase any L’Oréal products you need. This options continues to support BOSS Hairstyling. We currently still offer Cloud nine, olaplex, matrix biolage and matrix style link. If you need products I can deliver contactless for just $5. So that’s all for now, I plan to use the next 2/3 weeks to plan out the best re opening possible. I’m missing you all and can’t wait for the shop to open again. The plants will look amazing in the better weather too! x

Man, this sucks. I just can’t believe it.... its for the best, I know, but I’m shattered. All clients who have already booked in will have priority when restrictions are lifted. 06.01.2022 Taking a moment to reflect on our first month in business. I can’t believe it’s been over a month already, since our doors opened and we began once again. What a year it’s been, for all of us. I’m feeling all the feels lately, and as you’re all aware, I’m a thinker so bare with me. Ha! ... I could easily just make this a gratitude post, thanking you all for being so delightful to work with, for being so caring, thoughtful and sensitive through the tough times that 2020 has brought all of us. But a simple thank you could not possibly be enough to show my appreciation. To my staff, Hayley, Ash, and Lee. Without you girls, I would’ve found this so much harder. Your dedication and friendship is so appreciated and I truly miss you in salon on your days off . I hope this space is one you can find your true creativity and one that brings you joy on a daily basis. Over my career, I’ve never planned it. I’ve fallen into every step of the way. From working in salon, to loreal education, to mobile hair, overseas hair, you name it, I’ve tried it. But it is now, in my beautiful little salon, I’ve found my space. I’m so driven. I never wanted to simply work in a salon. So I’ve tried to create a space that can assist you all in simply feeling better but also be a safe space to get creative. This is not your typical salon, this is a space for you to switch off, meditate, practice some self love and hopefully leave feeling better than when you came in. I hope you all learn to use this space as one that creates change to not only your hair, but your mental state. If anything, the last few years have taught me how important it is to practice self care, so remember, we’re here to help. Thank you for everything that you bring to my business and my life. I appreciate it so much x
