01.01.2022 Hello Bossley Sports Club Members Firstly we would like to thank everyone, players, parents and families for a wonderful year in trying circumstances, from a committee point of view we were happy to provide a safe place for the teams to train and play. We must also recognize the importance the parents and families played for the sport to continue during the COVID restrictions with restrictions during training and the actual games and we applaud everyone’s attention to the rul...es that were enforced. This year we undertook some initiatives that would help coaches and managers by creating a referee coordinator role within the club and allocating players from our competitive teams U13 to U17 to run the games as referee for our non-competitive teams U5 to U11, this was well received by our teams and also visiting teams, it was a way to ensure that coaches and managers could focus on the game and players and not have to also referee during the game, we would like to thank the boys and girls that assisted us with this during the year and hope to continue this in 2021. As we prepare for the 2021 season we would like to remind you all of the Bossley Sports Club AGM which is being held @ Terone Park on Monday 9th November 7pm, we are always looking for new committee members to join the team and remember that being a committee member will included reduced registration cost for one player, if you feel uncommitted to join the committee, maybe come down and put your hand up as a delegate and we look for roles that suit your availability (Ground Marshal, Canteen, Line Marking, Apparel Assistance, Fundraising etc) Remember the club is run on volunteers so if you see them walking around maybe give them a pat on the back and say thank you. We would also like to congratulate all Bossley Competitive teams that made the finals this year, especially the 4 Bossley teams that made their respective Grand Finals, the u/16 girls, the u/17 boys, the u/21 men's and the AA-8 men's. You all made Bossley proud with your efforts, and special congratulations to the u/16 girls and u/17 boys for your Grand Final wins. Finally, we would like to thank our fellow Bossley committee members. Without all their hard work, support and dedication, none of this would have been possible.
