22.01.2022 Sharing from another Victoria's Secret declared bankruptcy. Zara closed 1,200 stores. Chanel, Hermes and Rolex have stopped production. Nike is getting ready for stage two of layoffs. AirBnb founder says that due to the pandemic, 12 years of effort were destroyed in 6 weeks. Starbucks announced the permanent closure of 400 stores. And the list continues...... Five months since the pandemic started and it has created huge debts, many of our friends and family are out of work and unemployed with tens of thousands of businesses now out of service. If the company you work for continues, no pay reduction or layoffs then treat it well and have respect for what the owner(s) must be going through to keep it going. 2020 is about survival, leave the daily complaints/moans and anything else minor behind, be thankful and show respect for what you have. Work hard and show your boss/owner/company the appreciation they need and deserve. *copied from elsewhere let’s spread it.

15.01.2022 There are so many beautiful things to celebrate everyday and yet again so many nasty comments on people posts. No wonder the younger generations are so mean! So...me one says something you don't like our don't agree with, is not a call to get your nasty pants on and abuse or attack their thought. If you don't agree put your point forward without nasty name calling, put downs and condescending remarks. All you are doing is showing your inability to make a valid point or debate. Truth always wins an argument. My mother taught me this! She was right. Even in a whisper truth always wins. Often we get angered because our so called truth doesn't align with fact and we feel stupid so we get defensive but isn't it better to be educated and learn something new or hear it from another perspective? So much anger leads to more anger leads to illness and so many life issues. 14.01.2022 There is something to be said for ritual. I'm not the best meditator on the planet but I am super present. I live my life on purpose everyday and teach others to do the same.... I talk about metal health in the same sentence as gut health, living clean and de-cluttering your life, home and work space. Each morning I sit in the same spot ever so grateful for the moment I'm in. Sometimes that best friend starts chattering away in my head about all the stuff I could of, would of and should of done differently or if only! I know find myself no longer trying to come up with solutions but observing my thoughts and asking myself is this really mine? I sit observing my heart rate, the tone of my skin and the emotions beneath all the white noise. Only to realise that I used to give it so much attention I was losing time! Time to relax, to breathe to just be with myself and all for what? If that was your best mate you would either tell them to shut up or change the subject. I've found just saying Thank but not today breaks the noise and disrupts the patterns that keep me stuck. Are you aware of your self talk the mindless white noise that serves you not? Are you quick to disrupt the pattern and move on or do you get pulled back to the scenarios? What are you grateful for to day? #bossv

13.01.2022 They brought balloons to a school. One was given to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway. The professors then mixed all the balloons.... The students were given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon. At that point the professors told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it. Within 5 minutes everyone had their own balloon. The professors said to the students: These ballons are like happiness. We will never find it if everyone is looking for their own.
