22.01.2022 There's a lot about the adopt don't shop chant on social media. The truth is most registered breeders have systems in place so that no responsibly bred puppy should ever end up in a shelter. Most shelter dogs are cross breds brought into the world by irresponsible back yard breeders. #ankcbreeders

22.01.2022 Hoping everyone is well and staying safe in these difficult times.

21.01.2022 Hi everyone on behalf of the club we hope everyone is well and those members that are affected with covid 19 lockdown are coping as best they can.

20.01.2022 Please Read.Although this is in USA it it still relevant for Australia. Unfortunately there have been a few colored Bostons imported into Australia for the sole purpose of breeding mutated colors which in turn, carry serious health issues. When considering a new puppy, we encourage ALL prospective puppy buyers to contact Registered, Reputable ANKC breeders and only accept puppies who are health tested and bred within our Breed Standard guidlelines. Please do not be tempted, ...no matter how cute as babies they may seem as it will only end in heartache for your self and the puppy who did not asked to be created. Bostons terriers should only ever be in 1 of the 3 colors in our breed standard. Black, Brindle or Seal with white markings. The Boston Terrier Club of NSW is more than happy to assist new puppy buyers who may be confused or overwhelmed when searching for their new family addition. See more

18.01.2022 When searching for your puppy, help the breeder by giving as much information about yourself and you situation. This helps the breeder to know you are genuine and helps to ensure the right puppy is placed with the right family.

12.01.2022 All our members and followers are strongly advised to only purchase their new puppy from an ANKC registered breeder. This is the only legitimate registra in Australia. The ANKC has just implemented a wonder search engine for prospective puppy buyers to check if the breeder of their choice is registered with the Australian National Kennel Control. Click on the link provided and scroll down to check breeder.... Enter your breeders prefix for verification. http://ankc.org.au/ Please feel free to contact the club for assistance

11.01.2022 The Boston Terrier Club of NSW has issued a Statement in support of our fellow Breeders in the Netherlands. This has been sent to the ANKC for submission. For ...those who would like to read it I have posted it here. This could have a domino affect on the rest of hte world just like the tail docking and dew claws ect. Its so very important Breeders are not complacent. A united front with Boston Breeders is more important now than ever!! #strengthinnumbers #protectourbreed See more

09.01.2022 Often we get messages from people wanting a puppy and after advice. The club is more than happy to assist potential puppy buyers find their new family member. Bostons are now a very popular breed. They are versatile, clean, low shedding and make for a perfect family pet in either a large back yard or suburban town house. Unfortunately, with popularity there comes a lot of internet scams and people on "get rich quick " schemes. So I thought I would put together some informatio...Continue reading

08.01.2022 An Interesting read for those who have been affected by Covid19. We have had a massive increase in puppy enquiries perhaps from people working from home with more time to notice the absence of pets. Bostons are definately "people dogs" and need to be involved in the household. How hos this pandemic affected your home? https://www.linkedin.com//separation-anxiety-dogs-dr-fio/
