06.01.2022 Beautiful mixed white floral bouquet. King proteas, peonies were the main features. A message to all brides wanting flowers that are not in season... please listen to your florist. From start to finish working with the bride for her flowers what she wanted wasnt in season. Which I advised in my very first email. I was then given a list of likes and dislikes which then limited greatly what could be used as a lot of flowers in season were on the dislike list but her like lis...t contained flowers not in season. 76 emails later, yes thats correct, she wrote she trusted me to create something beautiful, which I believe I did. Recently I discovered the bridal party walked the aisle without the bouquets including the bridesmaids, to say I was disappointed is an understatement, insulted, is a better choice. I worked very hard, stressed out, to create something truly beautiful but clearly still didnt meet expectation. Florists are not magicians despite creating floral magic we cannot make something happen when flowers are simply not available anywhere in the country, unless you wish to pay for them to be imported just for you. We work long hours doing everything we can to create custom floral arrangements but we are also at the mercy of the seasons and not miracle workers. So please allow florists some room to move when selecting florals and heed our advise, after all its our passion and we do know what were talking about. Alternatively if you are really set on a particular flower perhaps ask a florist when its in season and then set your wedding date during that flowering season ..... See more

06.01.2022 When you randomly scroll through insta and find your work and dont get mentioned.!! Bad form I spent a day creating the frame work for this 8m install, that had never been done at the venue before. 4 hours putting the frame in place with help as the anchor points were 8ms high and then about 6 hours decorating the install, plus the time bumping out. Rome wasnt built in a day nor are such long installs. Recognition and thanks goes a long way for the work we put in behind... the scenes prepping for a wedding, esp custom builds.
