11.01.2022 In part of the restorative journey of our Geelong West concept store, we uncovered an old Surf Shop sign beneath many years worth of paint. Our friendly neighbours at @houseiberia informed us that a customer made mention of the historical significance of this shop, being that it was one of the original surf shops in Victoria. Believed to be owned by Tony Olsson (president of ASA Vic, Surfing Victoria throughout the late 60’s and early 70’s); The Melbourne Surf Shop. If anyone has any information, images or corrections, we would be thrilled to learn the history of the space. @surfingvictoria
