23.01.2022 Here we have an office courtyard/breakout area makeover. From concept to reality and sterility to life. We have created a very inviting new space for staff to unwind, relax, grab a coffee and smell the flowers! The vertical gardens are a practical yet stunning solution for narrow and sterile areas such as this. Without compromising too much walkway space but generating plenty of interest. ... This lovely bistro area is located just outside the communal office kitchen. We decided it was most practical to incorporate edible plants like kitchen herbs, cherry tomatoes and strawberries! All pots are irrigated and semi self sustainable. With our help/maintenance, this space will continue to evolve and stay crisp and fresh for staff to enjoy all year round! All furnishings and materials were organised and sourced by Botanica Solutions.

15.01.2022 Serene Courtyard Transformation The main focus here was to create a much more appealing, tranquil scene. Incorporating simple design concepts inspired by elements of feng shui to effectively harmonise the area. Using lime green ‘Sacred Bamboo’ planted around the base of the Prunus tree to add bright, yet gentle, contrasting foliage. Accompanied with edible trailing Rosemary to spill out of the bed and soften the edges. ... In large trough planters we installed a row of Murraya hedges to eventually disguise the fence, they will also produce highly fragrant clusters of small white flowers in spring and summer! This simple, low maintenance courtyard will now be a much more relaxing point of focus from inside the most trafficked area of the house. With our help this succinct garden space will reach its true potential in no time! Here are some photos from before and after the minor revamp!

09.01.2022 Here’s some recent before and after photos of a cottage style, office garden makeover! This is a hot spot that endures full midday sun so we strategically selected drought tolerant, sun hardy, native plants and durable flowering perennials! The idea behind this garden design is to provide a much needed cooling and tranquil ambience to such a sun drenched, high trafficked courtyard. ... We used Honeysuckle vines and Jasmine combined with trailing rosemary to add a calming, gentle, element of fragrance. The blue, purple and silver hues gives the space a cooling sense to help alleviate the summer heat. The native flowers and Honeysuckle plants will encourage birds, butterflies and bees into the garden, adding an extra touch of serenity! With our help this office courtyard will continue to evolve into a welcoming oasis providing a restful place for staff and clients to enjoy!
