23.01.2022 Hooray, the broad beans have germinated and are loving the rain! Come by and check out the garden; the kale, peas, oregano, dill, WA native species, passionfruit and broad beans have grown so much. Plus, if anyone has any tips for growing rhubarb, let us know in the comments - ours doesn't seem to have grown much since we planted it.

21.01.2022 With the weather finally warming up its time for the Spring Busy Bee! Come join us this Friday as we install our new rainwater tank and retic system. We will also replanting some of the garden beds with summer veg. So far we are planning to get (but want your suggestions): - cherry tomatoes - basil - watermellon... - eggplants Let us know what you want to see, come along on Friday and bring anything that you have lying around the house and don't need (like fertilizer). 15.01.2022 Hi! Who's free in an hour? UWA Marketing are coming to film a short video about the garden, and have requested that there be some people in the background working/watering/digging (or pretending to!) If by any chance you're free between 3-3.30 today, please come by and join in! Your face won't necessarily be featured if you don't want it to be, they just need shots of people doing stuff in the garden. And it would be a great opportunity for those of you who haven't had a chance to check out there garden to come see what we've done so far. Sorry for the short notice, hopefully some of you will be able to make it down at 3pm today.

10.01.2022 As the weather finally gets warmer the garden needs a little extra love. If you are ever around and the garden looks a little dry, feel free to give it a water, there is a hose just around the side of the shed. Also be sure to get a strawberry before they all disappear!

06.01.2022 How a bunch of UWA undergrads, postgrads, post docs and staff built the Botany Annexe Community Vegetable Garden. Come check it out next to Botany Annexe 1 and enjoy the garden, sit in the sun, compost your scraps, pat some cute dogs, pull out some weeds - and please do come along to our next busy bee!
