18.01.2022 Second day at the Paynesville Classic Boat Rally 2020. 6 vessels set off, only 5 returned. The yellow submarine went to pieces. The kids had a blast and we learned that catamarans are fast.@#myrallypics

17.01.2022 More from Paynesville WBF 2020 Day 1. Sail past. Rough and Ready Kids. Paynesville Sea Scouts team 1 and 2. Paynesville Primary School and GLYC made up four furiously busy teams assembling two monos, one cat and one trimaran. All hoping for glory tomorrow at 2pm. Lucky we used the fast Epox-E-Glue.

17.01.2022 Time to go --- to the Wooden Boat Show. Hope to see you in Hobart from the end of this week.

16.01.2022 Furious activity building the rough and ready boats. Ready for the big race on Monday 9 March at 1115am. I wonder what the gas cylinder is all about?

16.01.2022 Next stop, Geelong for the Rough n Ready boat building contest. Saturday March 7 to Monday March 9 at Royal Geelong Yacht Club. It is a hoot, come and join us there! Here are some photos from last year.

15.01.2022 Thanks Roger for making it all happen.

15.01.2022 We have just released our stunning new LuciClear Casting Resin. Ultra clear, easy to use, no bubbles, can easily do 50mm deep castings, and easy to use in a wide range of ambient temperatures. Each time we show it to someone doing river tables or embedments, they take just a few seconds to decide this is so much better than what they are using.

11.01.2022 A beautiful strip plank canoe being built by a Brisbane customer. Simply no comparison to a fibreglass vessel. Wooden boats have a beauty and character unattainable with other materials. Built with Bote Cote and Aquacote, a vessel like this will last for a lifetime.

11.01.2022 A quick reminder that the Paynesville Victoria Wooden Boat Festival is coming up. Saturday 29 Feb to Monday March 2. Here are few shots from the Rough and Ready Boat Building Contest from 2018. Bote-Cote will again be sponsoring this great event.

08.01.2022 First day of the Paynesville wooden boat festival for 2020. Rough and Ready build day. Parade of little and not so little ships and perfect weather. Surely this must be boating heaven.

07.01.2022 #myrallypics Some of the action from the Bote-Cote Quick and Dirty boat build competition. Thanks to the great kids from Paynesville Primary School, Sea Scouts, Venturers and GLYC juniors. Not forgetting the senior member gamely going to sea in the Yellow Submarine. And the adult helpers too. We all had a ton of fun. Thanks Lilith, Lola, Harry, Ned, Henry, Colin, Lachlan, Maddison, Bohdan, Joel, Justin, Jamison, Keiran, Marlee, Maggie and Tegwyn.

06.01.2022 #myrallypics A last few of my favourites that i hadn't posted.

05.01.2022 One of our friends in Melbourne did this lovely piece using LuciClear Casting Resin and our new LuciClear Coating Resin. A lovely example of something a bit different and creative. Well done Honor M.

04.01.2022 Some excellent work by one of our customers, Ryan Jones. We think it's straight to Number 1 with a bullet.

02.01.2022 Not just for boats. Are you tired of home maintenance? Apply some Bote Cote and Aquacote Clear to your patio posts and relax.
