09.01.2022 CSIRO Researcher Steve Yeates, ORDCO CEO David Cross, and NACRA’s Deb Pearce inspecting our cotton trial at Ceres Farm this week. This trial is supported by the Australian Government’s CRC-P programme through the Department of Industry, Innovation and Science. The CRC Programme supports industry-led collaborations between industry, researchers and the community. NACRA is leading cotton, grains and fodder research in the Ord Valley, with additional trial work in Queensland with the assistance of our partner in CSIRO. The cotton varieties being trialled are CSIRO-bred. The future of cotton in the Ord looks bright, with local growers closely involved and watching & learning from the research.
