13.01.2022 Trainers and owners may have noticed 3C in the upcoming race programs and the following is from HRA explaining the Three Year Old Concession that has been in place since 9 March but hadn’t been programmed into Tasmanian races till now. It was approved that State Controlling Bodies (SCB) may be permitted to program races which provide a five (5) ratings point concession to 3yo horses when they compete against open aged horses. In addition, a floor of 50 points will also be... implemented whereby a 3yo shall not drop below 50 rating points if the concession is applied in such races. http://www.harness.org.au/media-room/news-article/

03.01.2022 Hi all, the St Mary's pacing club held its Annual General Meeting last Friday night, and after much discussion about how Covid 19 restrictions would affect the ...race day. With the restrictions in place as directed by the Government Covid policies, Tasracing has been informed that the committee has voted to postpone our race meeting on New year's Day 2021.This decision was disappointing for all but the committee could not ensure that we could safely put on our unique race day for our patrons, and comply with Government directions. We apologise for those loyal people who traditionally head to St Mary's but hopefully we can catch up in 2022. Any queries give me a call. Regards craig See more
