12.01.2022 Hellooo BOTSO-ites and friends!! Helen H here.. It's been a while I know, since anyone has posted or emailed. Just confirming I've removed all the "draft" fortnightly dates for this year, that were in in our calendar of Events from back in the day when we thought we might be able to resume meeting at Siteworks, maybe starting some time in October! Sadly not to be. Obviously we'll let you know if anything changes about that. In the meantime here's hoping you are all stayi...ng safe and virus-free!! Here's a link to the fabulous Rayna Gellert, old-timey fiddler extraordinaire. This page has a number of "teaching" videos on it, including Winder Slide, under the ADAE tunings (we play it in standard tuning). They all work the same way - she plays the tune at tempo, then slower, then even more slowly.
