22.01.2022 Friends & clients, this girl knows when she is beaten and sadly that is the case. It's time to finally call it a day. So heartbreaking when you realise there is no longer any other choice. Limited hours proved even too difficult to physically manage, so after a retirement that lasted 2weeks the lure to return to the job I just love was strong. This illness has proven stronger. So I'm walking away, to ease the blow I'm trying to think of it as moving forward.... but I'll always be looking back over my shoulder. With love and appreciation of all the happiness, laughs and beautiful memories. Thankyou.

21.01.2022 Just an update for all of my friends and clients. With the hopeful prospect of lockdown being lifted soon, I expect to be inundated with requests for an app...ointment. We have all been shaggy for far too long Priority will be given to clients whose previous appointments were cancelled due to Covid. I will only be able to accommodate those who are fully vaccinated. Unfortunately I have been extremely ill since my own vaccination, an expected consequence pertaining to my own underlying health issues. I know I don’t have to ask for your patience and understanding moving forward, you are all rock stars in that department Baby steps are going to be required for a little while, but I’ll do my best to accommodate everyone’s needs. 21.01.2022 These words go someway to summing up what is so very hard to write. After a lifetime career that has given me the most spectacular and wonderful adventures the time has come to say goodbye to salon life and hello to retirement. I've loved every minute of my chosen profession and will miss it unequivocally. Thankyou will never be adequate to all the wonderful clients and friends who have become part of my life story. A fuller or more rich career I couldn't have asked for. There's a season for everything and it's time for last drinks. Thankyou each and everyone for your support and loyalty all these years, the lifelong friends I've gathered on this journey will continue to accompany my family and I into the next.... 14.01.2022 So happy to say.... I'm back! Finally I hear you say Can't wait to be creating beautiful hair and filling our beautiful salon with laughter n happy smiles again. Our first day back will be January 9th 2020. A health & lifestyle friendly schedule will be our new normal.... Our new opening days will be Wednesday to Friday- 8:30am til 5:30pm, with one Saturday a month. While we realise these new hours may be slightly prohibitive for some of our valued clients we thankyou in advance for your understanding of their current necessity. 10.01.2022 This has always been my motto here at Bottega. Excellence and nothing less. After a brief foray back to the salon last week I've realised that recovery is going to take a while longer. Until optimum health n wellbeing is on my side I've made the difficult decision that our gorgeous little salon will remain closed til I can again give all our wonderful clients my very best. Your understanding during this difficult time has continued to warm my heart, I'm just so lucky to have so many beautiful clients n friends. Will post an update early February. and thanks to you all.
