25.01.2022 IT'S TIME - Unlock hospitality in Melbourne We've joined with hospitality industry leaders & have signed an open letter that calls for the Victorian government to 'unlock' the hospitality sector & fast-track the reopening of Melbourne's cafés, restaurants & bars. Being one of the most heavily regulated industries, you are hard pushed to find a safer space to be. The industry proved itself during the 6 weeks of trading from the start of June, in which we all followed the ...restrictions, gathered contact tracing data & as far as we were aware, had no impact whatsoever to the rise of Covid within the community. We want nothing more than for everyone who steps inside our venue to do so safely. We are not saying we want to put the health of any Victorian at risk, or to set back all the hard work done within the community during lockdown but we do want the Victorian government to rethink the harsh restrictions imposed on our industry as they are not realistic or reasonable.
