17.01.2022 An Ernst and Young Report on ABC this morning discusses how young Australians will be financially impacted the most by the pandemic's economic aftermath. Chief economist of EY, Jo Masters, talks about how young Australians can take a proactive approach to cushion the blow. Jo speaks of attaining micro-certifications to add to your skills and differentiate yourself for what she describes as 'job skills match'. It's not all doom and gloom. The silver lining is that differentiat...ing yourself now can also help to 'juniorise' the workforce and place you into a position that may not have been previously accessible. Jo also discusses recessionary conditions, financial literacy, discretionary saving, and how both firms and the Government can help as we get through these ongoing challenging times. Small changes now can help! #pandemic #economyslowdown #economynews #youngprofessionals #wagesandsalaries #legaltech #workforce #lawstudent #law #legal #legalstudies #lawschool

05.01.2022 We are very excited to announce that Bottled Law is a finalist for the Lawyer’s Weekly 2020 Innovator of the Year Award alongside the likes of Corrs Chambers Westgarth and Herbert Smith Freehills. Bottled Law started out as an informal conversation between law students and one tech-savvy law lecturer. We noticed that as the lockdown progressed in April 2020, job offers for law students became tighter. It highlighted the gap between the skills industry professionals are lookin...g for and what students are taught in law school. Practical skills in LegalTechsuch as how to use LEAP Softwarewere amongst the most common gaps. Our courses are created to address these gaps and give law students and young professionals the confidence to excel in their work. The combination of skills learnt at university and exposure to Bottled Law’s LegalTech courses will arm the modern law student and lawyer to be resilient, inquisitive and innovative. #auslaw #legaltech #lawtech #leap https://www.lawyersweekly.com.au//28928-innovator-of-the-y
