09.01.2022 Terrarium Care Tips! 1. Find a spot in front of a well-lit window with bright, filtered light indoors. 2. Open only when the plants look to be outgrowing their home to cut them back.... 3. If it is unsealed or has an opening in the jar, mist with a spray bottle once every couple of days to stop plants from drying out. This also depends on the weather; during summer, they will need more attention as they will dry out quicker, but watering will be scarce through the colder months. 4. Remove any yellowing or browning leaves that form by cutting them back to prevent the rest of the terrarium from rotting. 5. If you notice the environment is too wet, simply remove the lid and leave off for a few hours to help dry out some of the excess water. You should aim to have a third of the rocks in the base covered with water, but the substrate mix shouldn’t be saturated. 6. Whenever you water, should you need to, always mist with a spray bottle to avoid damaging the plants and overwatering. . . . #plant #plants #planting #indoorplants #indoorplant #terrarium #plantsinajar #homesinsidehomes #bottledup #terrariumcaretips #caretips #garden #gardening

03.01.2022 Our poor fiddle leaf fig completely died off after dropping all its leaves and we thought it was gone. Gave it to Dad to look after and he performed some kind of miracle that brought almost ten new leaves back! . . . #plant #plants #planting #indoorplant #indoorplants #fiddleleaf #fiddleleaffig #ficus #newleaf #newleaves
