23.01.2022 Mercedes C200 Kompressor came in with engine problems so we removed the standard 140hp engine and trans and replaced it with a 320rwhp LS engine and a 4l60e transmission conversion, custom 1 7/8" 4 into 1 extractors, twin 2 1/2" exhaust, cold air intake and a mafless tune just to name a few things....

22.01.2022 Mr Bottlefed now into Speedway! Saturday night racing A.M.C.A. class, great bunch of blokes. Gotta be a bonus when everything runs smoothly, came 4th in the feature race. Thanks to all that helped out.

12.01.2022 2nd race @ Ellenbrook, 6th Sept, an exciting Father’s Day! After a re-built clutch (thank you Ben Ludlow for the parts), a lot of panel beating and front end adjustments by James and his crew, No.5 was back up and racing! Heat 1 not so great, but after some expert advice from ‘AJ’ (thanks mate ) some changes were made which produced better drivability in Heat 2. James showing confidence to make a few passes. Feature race brought forward to beat the rain, track now slick and really only one-lined which made it hard to race 15laps. With that being said, overall points after Round 2 takes James into top 6 with one round remaining.....

10.01.2022 3rd race @ Ellenbrook, 27th Sept, final for winter series, did not go to plan. Earlier that week suspension adjusted by Michael and Darrell (@Michael Holmes Racing) thanks guys, made a big difference. But, due to fuel and ignition problems No.5 was unable to give 100%. Not liking anymore than 1/4 throttle, still managed to make a few passes in heat 2, but did not see the sense in going out in the feature. Due to wall contact we have a few repairs to get done before next race day. Would like to thank everyone involved, my crew Chief Josh Whately and Jacob, also my lovely wife for her support and help. It’s a new level of racing for us, new style of car, we will get on top of these little gremlins and start smashing laps in no time.

05.01.2022 1st race @ Kellerberrin, 15th August, no time to fit in a test drive, James drove out totally ‘green’ off the trailer! With a few driving tips (thanks Keaggy ) No.5 was ready to race. Heat 1 went smooth, Heat 2 showed potential, but a little contact made, spinning out, then hit front on, sadly the day was over for No.5. James and the crew showing their commitment in the pits, a come back was evident for sure!

03.01.2022 After our first AMCA race meet we've made a few changes to squeeze in some more HP - we've gone from twin exhaust system to custom in-house built extractors and single system exhaust, put some new cylinder heads on, new cam shaft and new alcohol carby. What a difference it has made! Now to do some fine tuning with the suspension.
