24.01.2022 Available for sale is this Charles Blackman O.B.E Hand Signed Limited Edition Print. Edition 45/125 Prone Schoolgirl (1953) Framed Size: 1070 mm x 1150 mm... Charles Raymond Blackman OBE was born in 1928 and died in 2018. He was an Australian painter, noted for the Schoolgirl, Avonsleigh and Alice in Wonderland series of the 1950's. He was a member of the Antipodeans, a group of Melbourne painters that also included Arthur Boyd, David Boyd, John Brack, Robert Dickerson, John Perceval and Clifton Pugh. It is framed with White Archival 8ply Matboard and Artglass AR70TM which reveals true colours and texture of the art - no green tint or optical distortions.
