21.01.2022 Saturday 29th August- Entertainment kicks off at 12.30pm! Our line up includes- JJ Rox, Mike Duff, Marcus Meier, Black Catz, A14 & Left of Centre! 1pm till 5pm - we have the very talented Carlie’s Fascinating Faces Face Painting set up for the kids!

10.01.2022 Massive thank you again to the Bowen River Rodeo & Campdraft Association for allowing us the use of their grounds and facilities. Our boys have been having a busy weekend getting everything ready for the camp out - Friday 28th & Saturday 29th August!

08.01.2022 Please note - Tickets are per person this year due to the restrictions. If you have for example- 4 adults & 2 kids coming from Friday till Sunday, your selection should look like the below. This covers your camping and entry to the event.

08.01.2022 Please remember- NO TICKET - NO ENTRY Everyone knows that 2020 is a different year and we had to limit tickets this year to reduce numbers. This allows us to continue to have our event under the Government’s Covid Restrictions. We are disappointed too if you have missed out on tickets so abusing us isn’t needed. Reduced numbers is for this year only!

Even though we were under Covid restrictions for this year, we can still donate a whooping $7040 to the Walter & Eliza Institution (IBD research centre section). Everyone made this possible including our entertainers, sound guys, sponsors, crew, volunteers, the crowd and the Bowen River Hotel!! 07.01.2022 Tickets for Bottoms Family Camp Out at Bowen River - On the ticket site, you will see there are no kids tickets available. If you are still needing kids tickets, please PM our page to try and arrange. Please check about their tickets before booking adult tickets just in case!! I can’t stress enough- We ONLY HAVE A LIMITED AMOUNT of ALL tickets due to Covid Restrictions, and yes, they are running out fast! ... ** UPDATE - Kids Tickets are FULLY BOOKED **

03.01.2022 Bottoms Family Camp Out at Bowen River Hotel! COVID STYLE 2020!! WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW - No Ticket - No Entry! ... CASH! Best to bring cash. The pub does have Eftpos facilities with limited cash outs. Bottoms does not have an Eftpos facility this year. And you’ll need cash for our raffles FIRES - At this stage fires are allowed but must be in a firepit or ring. Please bring a shovel or rake to clear an area for your fire! Security will tell you to put it out if it’s not contained or cleared. DOGS - No dogs are allowed at hotel. It would be preferred to leave your furry mate at home but if they must come, they are to be secured at your campsite CHECK IN - Check in will be open from 8am Friday morning. Bring your tickets!! (If you’ve bought tickets off someone, knowing their name will make your check in quicker!) CHAIRS - You are more than welcome to bring your camp chairs or picnic blankets to the event. We do have some chairs available. FOOD - The hotel will have lunch meals available from 12pm till 2pm and Friday night is Pasta night & Saturday night is Roast night. Cuppas by the Cape will be there with yummy snacks and slushies available all weekend. COFFEE - We have Kenny’s Coffee back available all weekend KIDS - Unfortunately our kids activities have had to be cancelled as they did not meet with Covid Safe Standards. We have gift packs for the kids and face painting from 1pm - 5pm Saturday afternoon COVID - all Covid safe practices will be in place. Remember your social distancing & the QLD liquor licensing rule of being seated. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the venue. You will have to sign in our Covid register on arrival. FUN - We are looking forward to a great weekend of being outdoors, listening to live music and enjoying a few cold beverages all while raising much needed funds for charity!!
