25.01.2022 Dardanup Heritage Park. My happy place. Situated on farming land beyond a quite unassuming entrance at Dardanup lays the most amazing world class heritage colle...ction. Jill Brookes and her team have amassed a treasure trove of historical items here at the Dardanup Heritage Park. Many large sheds house different collections, including a dedicated railway display, a fully operational sawmill, engines, tractors, dozers, horse-drawn carts, a replica mill settlement, and even a military collection, which is housed in a building that is actually Bunbury's old Drill Hall from Wittenoom Street (where Office Works is now). Today I paid a visit to see the changes since our last visit. I was blown away at the quality of the additions. A new shed houses collectables behind glass, from old pianos, musical instruments, kitchen ware, toys, games, and so much Australiana from days gone by. The quality and care that has gone into this is absolutely delightful. What I love about the Park is that it holds something for everyone. Tractors and vehicles will drive children around the sheds for a tour. The first Sunday of each month means the sawmill operates for onlookers. Much of the timber sawn here has gone into the buildings and displays you see. Each one is presented to perfection. One could spend many hours wandering around, absorbed in the era of each display. Everywhere you look there is something to catch the eye. There are some very significant items here, including many with the loveliest Bunbury related history, which I will share separately in detail for you! The Park began with a tractor owned by Gary Brookes and grew from there. It was originally a dairy farm. The dairy shed is still present! Sadly, Gary passed away in 2003, which was the year his Park opened. Gary's wife Jill has grown it from then, and it is a labour of love in the most beautiful way. There is a café for food and refreshments on site. I recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes, and allowing some time to take everything in, as there is so much to see! It opens each Wednesday and Sunday from 9.30 am to 4.00 pm. I can't rate this location highly enough, nor put into words the credit all deserve for what you see here. 22.01.2022 As you can imagine, the pegs we use to secure the castles into the ground take quite a beating. So every so often we need to get some new ones made to replace ones that are worn or broken. Our latest batch was completed by Jason and the team at Shift Engineering in Waroona in just 48 hours. Pretty good when you consider they not only had to be made, but travel to Navel Base and return to Waroona for galvanising. Thanks guys for your speedy work. Shame they won't look as new, after spending the weekend getting hammered into the ground

Being an outdoor venue there are no visitor limits however we do encourage social distancing where possible. 19.01.2022 Longer and sunnier days are here again and it is a great time to get a bouncy castle to keep the kids entertained for their next birthday celebration or in fact, any celebration. Our Dora the Explorer castle is great for the younger ones and our hire rates start from just $130 for a 2 hour hire ($150 for 4 hours). You need an area of 4.5m x 4.5m x 3.6m high, to set Dora up. The World of Disney castle is our most popular castle and a 2 hour hire starts from $160 ($180 for 4 h...ours). The Disney castle also needs 4.5m x 4.5m x 3.6m high, to be set up The Cars castle is our biggest castle having the same jumping area, as the other two castles, but it also has a slide (which the kids love) and a ball hoop, as well. This castle is $260 for a 2 hour hire ($280 for four hours) This castle needs 5m x 6m x 4m High to be set up, but can be setup on a double driveway. 18.01.2022 Hi, We need your help. We are thinking of buying a new jumping castle (maybe more) and was just wondering out of these two castles, which one you would prefer to hire? They are both medium jumpers and have the same specifications as our World of Disney castle. Regardless of which one we were to purchase, either one would be $200 for a four hire. if you could comment below which one you prefer Frozen or Princess, we would appreciate it. 12.01.2022 Cars went out all the way to Thornlie today and was setup, in perhaps, what was our tightest setup space ever. We managed to set it up successfully, even though we did tell the customers they would need to be extra vigilant as the children used the entry/exit hole, due to the proximity of a small wall. Unfortunately, just as we arrived to pick it up, the heavens opened up for about fifteen minutes. Just enough to make sure the castle will be out tomorrow to make sure it is thoroughly dry.

Measuring 4.5m x 4.5m x 3.6m high, this commercial grade jumping castle is ideal for groups of around 8 - 12 children (depending on size, weight and how they are playing together), to have some awesome bouncing fun!... 07.01.2022 Today the World of Disney castle was set up at the Osprey Water Foreshore Park for a private birthday party. If you want a castle in your local park, you just need to see you local council to see if they will grant permission. Some councils have a small charge, some dont. You will also need a suitable generator to power the blower unit of the castle. We can supky one, for the duration of the hire, for only an additional $50. This includes the fuel used.... She has only ventured a few streets away, but of course like all the castles, has had a clean and been disinfected before being ready for use by our fantastic customers.
