22.01.2022 Funny but true - beekeeping with a shot gun Yesterday I collected a large hive from a foam child seat and put it in a box. Today I got home to find a large swarm 10-15m high in a tree. My swarm catcher pole would not reach so cut the branch with 2 shots of my shotgun and the bees and branch fell straight into the bee hive below. I wish I had videod it now as it was awesome! Bees are happily in there new home!

17.01.2022 Here are a few photos from my shed at the moment. It would appear that bee keeping is no longer a hobby. Thanks to Simon Happy for the laser branding and Andrew Taylor for the 30 new lids. 05.01.2022 big day today! 3 swarms and 2 giant cutouts as well as 3 hive sales. Collected a hive out of the wall of a house and took 9 frames of brood out of the wall. Going to be an epic hive!
