The last day to respond to these surveys is this Wednesday, if you have missed the email please contact your class teachers. 22.01.2022 Yr 2, 4, 5 & 6 SWIMMING Weeks 1 & 2 - Term 4 It’s been fantastic to see so many students being able to participate in the upcoming Year 2, 4, 5 & 6 swimming lessons, from 6-9 and 13-16 October, at Aquatic Achievers (Year 2 & 4) and the North Lakes Aquatic Centre (Year 5 & 6). ... Below is a timetable of when students will be participating. Students will be boarding the bus in their swimming costume and thongs/shoes and have their goggles, swim caps and towel with them. They will board the bus 15minutes prior to the beginning of their lesson. Year 2 & 4 9:05 - 9:35am 2 Yellow & Red 9:40 - 10:10am 2 Black & Blue 10:15 - 10:45am 2 Aqua & Violet 10:50 - 11:20am 2 Green & Indigo 11:25 - 11:55am 2 White & 4 Violet 12:00 - 12:30pm 4 White & Indigo 12:35 - 1:05pm 4 Yellow & Red 1:10 - 1:40pm 4 Green & Blue Year 5 & 6 9:15 - 9:45am 5 Blue & White 9:50 - 10:20am 5 Violet & Indigo 10:25 - 10:55am 5 Yellow & Black 11:00 - 11:30am 5 Green & 6 Red 11:35am-12:05pm 6 Yellow & Black 12:10-12:40pm 6 White & Violet 12:45-1:15pm 6 Green & Blue All children are encouraged to wear a swimming cap. Sun safety is vital and students are required to wear a close fitting t-shirt or sun-shirt when participating in swimming lessons. It is encouraged that children wear a set of goggles. Girls are to wear a one-piece swimming costume. Students in the first two lessons of the day are required to come to school in their swimming costume underneath their school uniform. All other classes will have sufficient time to get changed into their swimming costume prior to boarding the bus.

Available parking is very limited and we would encourage you to leave home earlier than normal as you may need to utilise local street parking. It’s also a beautiful afternoon for a walk

19.01.2022 So very proud of our 5 representatives in tonights finals of the Lions Club Public Speaking Competition held at The Lakes College. Year 5 - Olivia, Amber and Megan Year 6 - Gabriella and Noah... All students did Bounty proud with their exceptional speaking skills, enthusiasm and confidence. Well done to all involved. Special mention to Olivia and Amber who took out first and second place in the Year 5 finals. Thank you to our staff and parents who came along in support.

13.01.2022 Prep Black - We did NAIDOC rotations including making play dough symbols on mats and dot painting. We have read Tom Tom by Rosemary Sullivan. Today we made damper just like Tom Tom. We also enjoyed singing and dancing.

12.01.2022 Year 6 Big Day Out- Monday Dec 7 All students must be wearing a broad brim hat, have a swim shirt/rashie and a have a water bottle prior to boarding the bus. Please ensure they come to school with sunscreen on and then have extra to apply during the day. Further info below.

11.01.2022 Spring has sprung at Bounty, thanks to our amazing student support gardeners. These beautiful flowers are bringing smiles to staff and students faces. The students hard work and preparation in Term 3 has paid off.

05.01.2022 Just a reminder that the year 4-6 swimming carnival permission note and payment is due Wednesday 25 November. We would love to see as many students participating as possible. The carnival will take place on Friday 4 December at Deception Bay Aquatic Centre. Please have your child see a PE teacher or contact Corey Millers ([email protected]) if your child requires another permission note. Please note that year 3 students turning 9 this year, who are competent in swimming in 50m races, are also invited to attend.
