09.01.2022 Elia used to breed pigeons so when I talked to him and Lina about the different types of rituals they could incorporate into their wedding ceremony he was autom...atically drawn straight away to the dove ritual. Romans believe that releasing doves after a wedding ceremony is a sign of eternity so Elia and Lina both released a white dove each to celebrate their joining together as husband and wife. Sadly, Elias first wife passed away some time ago and it was important to him to remember and honour his late wife by asking his daughter Andrea to release a dove in honour of her much loved Mum. We were afraid that the rain would not stop for them to release the doves but there was a break in the weather and the doves were released to the pure joy and excitement of Elia- Lina was not quite sure lol.
