15.01.2022 After any kind of traumatic event there is healing. There may be steps forward and few back, you may feel like giving up and all is hopeless. This may be your learning journey to recovery. Don’t give up, everyone’s journey is different. Just make it your journey and keep trying to move forward. At some stage you will get to a place where you can manage, survive and even enjoy life again. The joy of recovery is you won’t realise the positive changes as you live your life. Things will naturally feel easier and your anxiety will reduce. Don’t be frightened of the ride. Life is a journey of mixed experiences including feelings and emotions. But if you are struggling, please talk to someone and ask for support.

14.01.2022 Just like in footy, this needs to be a team effort. Let’s tackle this together. Find out more on vaccination at australia.gov.au

07.01.2022 International Overdose Awareness Day. A time to think about those we love that we have lost and learn what we can do to stop it happening in the future Overdose can be accidental or intentional. If you feel suicidal, please reach out and talk to someone. As lonely as you may feel, there are people around who are there for you. Remember as well, if someone reaches out to you or you are concerned about a friend or family members behaviour, withdrawing, giving stuff away, ta...lking about death or no longer having plans for the future then reach out to them! Ask if they are ok and if not, help them get to a doctor, take them to a service in your town or ring one of the helpline numbers. Together we can act against overdose. #overdose #internationaloverdoseday #notourway #notourculture

02.01.2022 Please ask for help, see your doctor and talk to them about what is available
