A bumble bee is considerably faster than a John Deere tractor. Words that soak into your ears are whispered not yelled. Meanness dont jes happen overnight. Forgive your enemies; it messes up their heads. Do not corner something that you know is meaner than you. It dont take a very big person to carry a grudge. You cannot unsay a cruel word. Every path has a few puddles. When you wallow with pigs, expect to get dirty. The best sermons are lived, not preached. Most of the stuff people worry about aint never gonna happen anyway. Dont judge folks by their relatives. Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer. Live a good, honorable life Then when you get older and think back, youll enjoy it a second time. Don t interfere with somethin that aint bothering you none. Timing has a lot to do with the outcome of a Rain dance. If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop diggin. Sometimes you get, and sometimes you get got. The biggest troublemaker youll probably ever have to deal with, watches you from the mirror every mornin. Always drink upstream from the herd. Thank you to everyone ...who came out and enjoyed themselves! Wed love to see your photos! A big thank you to all our wonderful sponsors, without you this day would not be possible!!! Thank you to our trackside broadcasting, MC and interview team, Mark McNamara, Michael Dumensy, Greg Hayes and David Tildsley and Cath Adams for singing the Anthem. This day doesnt just happen, there are so many people behind the scenes! A big thank you to our President Jeff Howell and committee member Peter Jones for the tireless hours you have put in to making out grounds picturesque during a drought and maintaining the track, the noble family for planting the Canola Up the home straight, Our wonderful volunteers for setting up and help cleaning up the grounds, Fiona and Abby for doing a wonderful job at the trackside presentation, Eugowra Footy Club for doing the canteen, Eugowra Preschool for the lollies and refreshments, Wendy Greenhalgh for doing a wonderful job decorating and looking after the Canola Cup VIP Marquee, the boys on the gate, to all our bar staff, Colin Hewett for the great music, our race day office staff and Coffee Photography for top photos and looking after Facebook, keeping everyone informed!
