19.01.2022 On site blade and belt replacement for this mornings job. I can say this is one of the worse blades I have ever seen. Dangerous and would have been cutting the grass like a dogs breakfast. Book in to get your blades changed or a full service. Get back your weekend

18.01.2022 A day in the shed today. Currently have a john deere in for a new camshaft an governor. This picture shows the sump an all the sludge and metal fragments left over. This is typical of an engine that hasnt jad regular maintenance. If you want to keep you engine clean and free of sludge to get the most out of your engine then book in now to get a service before its too late. Oil is cheaper than an engine.

08.01.2022 FUNNEL ANTS AKA LAWN TERRORIST These little fellas cause a hell of alot of damage. The two main things are. * premature blade wear due to the sandpaper like friction on the blades as they pass through the ant hills. ... * cause the underside of the deck to choke up with wet mud and grass. The 2nd of the two is a major issue. Having a deck that is full of mud caused the air flow to weaken and if your in aware you need air flow for the blades to work correctly. (Ill go into this further in another post). This causes your mower to leave mulched lines and miss the extra long grass making you do several passes to get all the grass cut The other big issue is the extra weight it adds to your deck and puts your deck linkages under extreme pressure. I often have to weld up deck linkages due to them snapping because of this issue. Quiet often I remove up to 25kg of mud from the average size deck. So when mowing keep checking that your clippings are spreading evenly and the chute isnt blocking up. If this happens simply run the mower up on some ramps or a jack with stands and get a paint scrapper and remove all mud it is very important to not let it dry as once dry you will need a chisel and hammer to remove. Anyway guys hope you learn somthing from my tips and it makes your mowing experience better. Have an awesome day.

07.01.2022 WOW hasnt this rain made the lawn into a jungle. A few tips for mowing long grass. * set your blades to the highest they will go and work your way down to the normal height. * make sure your blades are either new or at least sharp. Blunt blades will tear at the grass and make your finish look terrible not to mention make your machine work extra hard. ... * make sure your machine is serviced by a qualified mechanic to stop break downs. * and probably the biggest tip I could give is. Once you have done battle with the jungle in 10000% humidity and 30+ temps make a cool beverage and sit back and enjoy over looking your lawn for 5 minutes before you have to get the mower out again. Enjoy the rest of the season shes going to be a big one. 06.01.2022 Getting stuck into it this morning. This heavy grass takes its toll on the mower. Fresh blades will have to be sharpened tonight. Belts get stretched and the engines running temps are alot hotter. After 10hrs of this today I will be dropping the oil and replacing. Keep your mower in peak condition and it will look after you for years to come.

Mowing Taylors arm oval today an had this little chap come from no where an stop me in my tracks as soon as I stopped he jumped on i took some photos put it on the local page and continued mowing all why he just sat there and gave me a cuddle. An hour later the owner arrived and was so shocked to see him on the ride on. The little fella loved it. Have an awesome day guys enjoy the sun
