We’ve spent an awesome week down in Pemberton at @bellevuecottagepemberton .Highly recommend a stay there - it’s fantastic accommodation with everything you need and there is so much to do close by, the perfect southwest holiday spot!

19.01.2022 Studio portraits can be relaxed too! It was so fun spending the morning with these guys this week. I last saw them three years ago for Hamish's newborn shoot, and this time he introduced me to his beautiful new little sister, Mackenzie. Hamish was an absolute star - a very happy, well behaved little guy. He brought a bag of toys and we had a blast playing together with all his favourite things (including a pair of goggly eye glasses!) At the end of the shoot dad was just relaxing on my beanbag with bub while I captured a few final moments, and then Hamish went in for a cuddle too, so of course it became a moment not to be missed!

11.01.2022 When I was a young kid I spent most of my time off from school playing outdoors. I would leave home and go around the neighbourhood knocking on all my friends doors (or they would come knocking at mine) and we would all head out to the park with the instructions from our parents to be home by dinner time. How times have changed! But one thing that still stays the same, then and now, whenever there’s a good tree to be clambered or climbed, no kid can resist!

Whether you are a mum or you just know a great one, the world wouldn’t be the same without you! My mum’s in the UK so we have two Mother’s Days in our house. One for her and one for me ;-)

I love the more real, natural newborn photos and really I just let baby take the lead so that I can capture them as they are, not how all the newborn posing gurus say they should be. And so often the boys just put their hands up behind their heads, sprackle out and spread a little smile across their face. And at that moment I just laugh..."Typical boy", I say ;-)

08.01.2022 Sisters... I don’t have any sisters myself but I have two girls, and everyone tells me how special it is. All I know is that my heart melts when I see my girls laughing together like these gorgeous ladies. This print is up on their mum’s wall and I know she’ll get that same feeling I do every time she looks at it
