16.01.2022 We are happy to announce a brilliant new tourism initiative for the Hunter Valley. Boutique PR and a number of different businesses in the Hunter Valley wine region have put together cycle routes which explore and showcase the area. From Vineyard Tours in Lovedale, to MTB tracks in Kurri and the world class gravel in the Wollombi Valley, this maps shows the diversity of riding for everyone. ... The initiative is brilliantly supported by Cessnock City Council who immediately recognised the benefits to region. First maps will be distributed in Wollombi this weekend. It was such a wonderful live broadcast with lots of stories and laughter from a few residents and the super talented artists. 12.01.2022 Finally drag myself away from the PC on Tuesday thanks to crew of Wollombi Valley Landcare. Had a wonderful morning with the local kids planting some natives down on Laguna Village Green. It was such a beautiful morning getting some soil on our hands and forgetting about social media for a moment. ... The kids had a blast and were totally into it - or shall I say digging it! Ended the day with coffee and banana cake thanks to GNTP. Hopefully the planting will be a monthly event that we do with Landcare and the kids.
