21.01.2022 BRANDING PROJECT: . Feels Good Wellness - a modern wellness brand we helped develop earlier this year that is bringing a new LIFE and level of awareness to the workplace. . Among full brand development, including positioning, strategy & design, we helped these lovely ladies clarify their brand vision and got them all set-up with the assets they needed to go confidently into their first corporate trainings (ahem...with the likes of @marsaustralia ).... . 17.01.2022 Confidence is not "They will like me". Confidence is "I'll be fine if they don't". . I am sharing this quote today as #confidence is something I've struggled with quite a bit. I've struggled with it personally (body shape, looks, my voice, perspective, personality etc) but also with my brand/biz - it is such a vulnerable thing to first tap into yourself for your own unique vision, but then to share it with the world can feel like death to some . Or to the mind anyways. . ... Let me tell you, it gets easier. Don't be fooled, I don't believe it ever goes away [the fears/doubts as you open up & level up] BUT you gain the self-awareness and gather the tools that help you continue to EXPRESS YOURSELF. . NOTE: Expressing yourself & your truth is NOT about bending yourself into a pretzel, pleasing everybody and being 'liked'. What it is about is tapping into your core, trusting what you get, and sharing it freely - Even if "they" don't like it. . 17.01.2022 I went to an excellent talk Tuesday night from Kaylene Langford @startupcreative. Beyond the fab biz and mindset tips...What really stood out to me was Kaylene’s REAL-Factor. No obvious, over structured sales pitch funnely wooha. Just straight-up advice, storytelling, and the odd joke or cheeky dig at the system (which the jokester rebel in me loves). . Anyway I thought it was fitting that I was working on this ‘Keep it real’ tee graphic just before I went to hear her ...speak as I have been thinking a lot about how just Keeping it Real in your branding etc. can really give you a cutting edge in the (often over-saturated) market. . People are sick of being sold crap and told crap. Bull-shit meters are dialed up like never people and consumers are humans you respond to truth, imperfection, and realness. I know Kaylene’s audience resonated with her real-ness (cuz they talked to me about it after). 04.01.2022 Sitting here tonight reflecting on the creative journey I have had with (@kinnorth) since Tresna (Kin’s Founder) came to me to help create, develop & guide her brand vision. It has been 9 months since we first met in a cafe to discuss the ideas she had whirling around in her head & heart. . Since then, I have helped Tresna channel said ideas into a beautiful & cohesive brand. . In this post, I thought I would take you on a bit of the journey and share some of the brand d...evelopment highlights with you. . From initial consult to brand-essence capturing moodboard, logo suite, full brand style guide, custom website & beyond! . Once the foundations of the brand were set we moved into product design & development (hello beautiful linen homewares!) & photoshoot styling to get all the aspects of the brand working together to tell the whole Kin story (in a seamless, modern way). . I am so stoked to be a part of establishing the roots of this brand and can’t wait to see where it goes as I know Tresna has lots of exciting things planned(Did somebody say Kin Bali Retreat in October? ). .
