24.01.2022 The Pre-schooler's have started their transitions to the local primary schools, with the Queens beach children going for a visit last Wednesday and having our second visit with Bowen state school on Tuesday. We are now taking the children that are going to Queens Beach and children that are going to Bowen state to their designated schools so these children have the opportunity to form relationships within the schools they will going to in 2021.

18.01.2022 We hope that all of our families have had a safe and happy Easter break! There have been a lot of questions across our community and state around which students... will be eligible to attend school for supervision for the first five weeks of Term 2. Here is what the department is advising parents and other caregivers in relation to attendance: From the start of Term 2 until 22 May 2020, all students will be learning from home, except for students in the following categories: Children of essential workers on days when they are not able to be supervised at home and no other arrangements can be made. Essential worker means any worker who must continue to attend their workplace for essential business during this time. Vulnerable children include children identified by schools or who: - are currently receiving services from Child Safety, including children who are subject to a child protection order are subject to a youth justice order. - Children in designated Indigenous communities. Where the student is learning at home, the parent or carer is responsible for the students safety and wellbeing at home or elsewhere. We will be sending out more information to support our families via email and SMS. Take care everyone!

04.01.2022 The Preschool Class was delighted to start Kinder-gym with Miss Nicole at the PCYC this week, there was a huge variety of equipment for the children to explore and build on their gross motor skills. Thanks PCYC for offering a well organised and quality kinder-gym program.
