10.01.2022 The 2020 Bowen show is in a Postponed state. If restrictions are lifted, we might be able to hold some sort of event. This will have to be worked out within our State organization and with consultation of other shows. Our normal allocated date of the 23rd June will still be a local, public holiday according to those who set the dates. Updates will be provided as they become available.

04.01.2022 WRC has received notice from the Qld State Govt that the request for the Bowen Show holiday to be moved to Friday, 14th August 2020 has been approved. The choi...ce given by State was the date remain as already gazetted or be moved to the above mentioned date ONLY, no other dates would be considered. This will take advantage of the planned Qld tourism strategy and allow a long weekend for residents and encourage travel within the Whitsundays. The Proserpine Show holiday on Friday 19th June and Collinsville Show holiday, Tuesday 3rd November, in line with Melbourne Cup Day will remain the same. See more

03.01.2022 Here is the covid form link for the 14th Nov at Bowen Showgrounds. Everyone is to fill one out and show it to our team as you enter the grounds. Nice and sim...ple exactly like the last two meetings I also need to make very clear that the 3.30pm gate on Jilletts lane is for RIDERS & SPONSORS only. No exceptions. General public, please be patient until the 4.30pm main gate is open. You won’t miss out on a spot. If you try to get in the side gate, sorry but you will be politely turned away and will be required to line up again at the front. It is essential to get all riders through that gate on time as they need to adhere to a schedule for their sign on & events. There will be signage at the gates aswell incase you forget! Thank you for your understanding
