25.01.2022 Please share this post! Bowenfels Medical Practice will remain closed all day today Tuesday October 22nd. Please do not go to Bowenfels Medical Practice today as there will be no clinical staff on site and no administrative services available. ... Unfortunately due to the water damage and associated power and computer outage we have been unable to access the scheduled appointments for today. As a result we apologise that we have been unable to individually contact patients with appointments for today. For patients with existing appointments at Bowenfels for TODAY - TUESDAY OCT 22nd the arrangements are as follows: Patients with appointments for DR KAN and DR BROWN - please keep your existing appointment time but go to the Eskbank Surgery at 31 Eskbank Street for your appointment instead of Bowenfels. Patients with appointments for PAUL ROEBUCK PHYSIOTHERAPY - please keep your existing appointment time but please go to the NOTRE DAME university building behind the hospital - please have a seat in the waiting area there as you enter and Paul will come and find you for your appointment. (Please call Eskbank Surgery on 63531113 if you need assistance locating this building) ALL OTHER APPOINTMENTS SCHEDULED AT BOWENFELS FOR TODAY TUESDAY OCTOBER 22nd HAVE BEEN CANCELLED We will be contacting patients and rebooking these appointments as soon as we are able to. 23.01.2022 If you are eligible for a government funded flu vaccination and haven’t yet had one for 2020 please call us on 6352 2533 to book in.

22.01.2022 Bowenfels Medical Practice will be CLOSED from 1230pm - 2pm on Monday. Eskbank surgery will be closed all day on Monday. Please do not attend during these times of closures as you will not be able to enter the premises for any reason. ... Thank you for your understanding.

19.01.2022 Update for Thursday October 24th The Bowenfels Medical Practice phone system is now back up and running. Patients can contact us at Bowenfels Medical Practice on 63522533 as normal from 0900 Thursday October 24th.... We will be operating a limited service from Bowenfels Medical Practice tomorrow. Dr Tamilarasan will be working from Bowenfels Medical Practice tomorrow. Paul Roebuck Physiotherapy will be working from Bowenfels Medical Pactice. Dr Kan will be working from Eskbank Surgery Dr Biing will be working from Eskbank Surgery Dr Brown will most likely be working from Bowenfels Medical Practice - please contact either surgery to confirm this tomorrow. 16.01.2022 We would like to thank all of our patients for your patience and everyone who has been sharing our posts. Unfortunately at this time it looks possible that Bowenfels Medical Practice may not be able to open all week. We have sustained significant damage and are undertaking remedial works in order to reopen as quickly as possible. We will continue to update via Facebook As a result the arrangements for WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 23rd are as follows:... Please do not attend Bowenfels Medical Practice on Wednesday October 23rd - there will be no clinical staff on site and no administrative services available. All existing appointments for Dr Denovan and Dr Mark Roebuck will continue as per your original appointment time but will now happen at Eskbank Surgery, 31 Eskbank Street - please make your way to Eskbank Surgery for your appointment. All existing appointments for nursing appointments will continue as per your original appointment time but will now happen at Eskbank Surgery. All existing appointments for Paul Roebuck Physiotherapy will continue as per your original appointment time but from the Notre Dame University Campus behind Lithgow Hospital and very close to Bowenfels Medical Practice. Please arrive at your planned appointment time and take a seat in the waiting room at Notre Dame University - Paul will come and find you for your appointment. We now have access to our appointment schedule so our amazing staff have been busy contacting individual patients with these changes to the best of our ability. 08.01.2022 To all of our patients. We will be using this page to keep you updated with the very rapidly changing Coronavirus situation. Please help us to get the word out to as many of our patients as possible by sharing our page or sharing individual posts. Many thanks. As many of you will now be aware we are operating a very strict triage system to reduce the risk of coronavirus being unknowingly transmitted to other patients. As a result the rules below apply for the current time. Thank you for your understanding as we do what we can to keep our entire community safe and continue to provide quality medical care to you.

02.01.2022 We are pleased to introduce Dr Kieran Webb-Sawyer - the newest member of the Bowenfels Medical Practice team of doctors. Kieran comes to us with experience in a wide variety of different medical fields. Kieran is able to look after the full range of general practice presentations for all ages of patients. He is available for appointments on Mondays and Fridays including early and late appointments on both days - call our reception team on 63522533 for an appointment.

02.01.2022 Bowenfels Medical Practice is temporarily CLOSED. The Practice was unable to open today due to significant water damage to our building from a burst pipe. Unfortunately the building is currently non-operational and the practice will also be closed tomorrow Tuesday October 22nd. We are working to restore normal services to our patients as quickly as possible but at this stage we simply do not know when this will be. As a result we cannot make any future appointments at Bowenf...els at this time. Our branch Practice Eskbank Surgery at 31 Eskbank Street is operating as normal - any existing appointments at Eskbank Surgery are NOT AFFECTED. However, please note we do not currently have access to our computer system so things may not run as smoothly as usual. Please do not come to Bowenfels Medical Practice on Tuesday October 22nd - there will be no clinical staff on site and no administrative services available. Please direct ALL urgent enquiries to our Eskbank Surgery on 6353 1113. We will post an update when Bowenfels Medical Practice is operational again and would greatly appreciate if non urgent enquiries could wait until this time. We are aware that this situation will cause difficulties for some of our patients and we would like to extend our apologies for this disruption. 01.01.2022 BOWENFELS MEDICAL PRACTICE IS FULLY OPERATIONAL AGAIN! There are no further expected disruptions to services and the staff have been in contact with all patients affected by this weeks disruption. Patients will notice some cosmetic issues at Bowenfels which will be fixed in due course and will not affect service provision.... Thank you to all of you who shared our update posts and helped spread the messages to our patients not on Facebook. Also a big thank you to those patients who have been patient and understanding - we know the disruption has caused difficulties for some of you. We are pleased to be able to return to our usual high standard of service and care! Many thanks to Notre Dame University and Lithgow Valley Medical Practice for your support and assistance during our time of need. It has been an ENORMOUS task to get the practice up and running again so quickly after such a significant event and the doctors who own the practice would like to publicly acknowledge each and every member of our amazing administrative and nursing staff - all of whom have worked tirelessly and without complaint to get us operational again in an incredibly short timeframe given the extent of damage. We are also very grateful to the family members of our staff and doctors who have assisted. Our team really shone this week - thank you all. This will be the final update in this regard!
