23.01.2022 This weekend options will be the protected bays, rivers, dams & fresh water systems. With the full moon tonight the fish will be on the chew and will be active feeding most of the weekend. When it’s too windy to cast, why not try trolling lures for Barra and jacks. RMG & Halco laser pro are some of the best trolling lures going. Try trolling 2 to 3 lures all at different depths and sizes. Smallest out the back and stagger your spread. Laser Pro’s have had some new upgrades wi...th pectoral fins and 3D eyes, Why not drop in and try something new this weekend. 22.01.2022 Team Tackle World Bowen are giving it a crack at this years ABT. Having to fish along the best in the country with 27 pro teams it’s not a easy task. Mel hasn’t had the best luck so far, Lots of nice bites & heaps of follows to the boat & dropping some nice size Barra, it just hasn’t worked out for her just yet. Only 2 nights down and 2 more to go plus the all nighter!!!! .... I’m sure she will deliver. That’s Barra fishing....... Matt has been slow to get the fish to the boat having late catches in both nights of the comp. Matt Lost a huge girl at Kinchant and another stonker last night at Teemburra & if landed would of put us up the board. With 5 pro teams coming in home empty handed we can’t complain. Sitting 19th out of 27 teams we hope to make up some places in the next 3 events... being our first ABT and fairly new to impoundment fishing we have been lucky to land any. Getting back at 3am this morning it’s a rest day for all teams, a great time to re rig leaders, check any braid wear and replace any damaged hooks. Mel is running Live Fiber Blades & Tails with Shimano 4000 Stradic loaded with Sunline ADV 30lb. Matt is using Bone Black River with a Shimano 4000 Vanford also loaded with Sunline ADV 30lb. Bring on the next round, we ll be giving it our all to land that lifetime Barra
