25.01.2022 Welcome to Bowen! Last Sunday we welcomed over 430 visitors to our information centre between 10am-3pm! This keeps our staff and our volunteers busy and let's us showcase Bowen and all our members! Visitors enjoy stopping by for our information range, taking a photo with our famous BIG MANGO, enjoying a mango sorbet or ice cream or picking up a souvenir or two! ... #visitbowen

25.01.2022 In response to the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis facing the state's tourism and events industry, Tourism and Events Queensland, in partnership with Queensland's regional tourism organisations, is offering ATDW membership with no annual fee for the next 24 months, providing a saving of $150 per year. This offer is available to all tourism and events operators in Queensland. Operators looking to take up this offer should visit www.atdw-online.com.au and click 'Register Now' in the top right corner to create an ATDW listing. For existing ATDW members, there is no action to take.

The role is primarily focused on: Supporting small businesses suffering financial hardship as a result of downturns due to drought, the 2019 monsoon trough or COVID-19. We also assist with grant applications such as the Small Business Adaption Grant and the new COVID-19 International Tourism Adaption Grant... We also have access to discretionary pools of money that can be allocated to struggling small businesses to help pay for professional legal & financial services.
