24.01.2022 This term the Prep students have been learning all about 2D and 3D shapes. On this final day of term, the Prep students were given a shape challenge for fun. The challenge was to replicate the Taj Mahal building using our wooden 3D shape blocks. At first it was a challenge for some of us to remember we needed to work together as a team, but before long we had a fabulous construction that we are all super proud of and we wanted to share it with our family, friends and community

In recognition of the outstanding efforts of school staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, the last two days of the scho...ol year, Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December, have been declared student free days. Schools will be closed on these days. For some regional, rural and remote schools that finish the school year earlier, the student free days will be Thursday 3 and Friday 4 December. 21.01.2022 What an amazing day we all had at Dalby PCYC today! Laser tag, gymnastics, a visit by an unmarked police car and a very special lunch. Thanks to Mrs Goodwin, Mrs Welke and Mrs Hart for taking us. It was so much fun!

20.01.2022 On today's parade we had some special award recipients. Florence achieved a Gold Award for achieving 93% in the Map 3 Reading Eggs Quiz. Bridie Wise also received a Certificate of Recognition for managing her time well and completing her required tasks. Congratulations Florence and Bridie, keep up the great work!
18.01.2022 Today we say a special thank-you to our Tuckshop volunteers. The first Friday of November is Tuckshop Day in Queensland. To Mrs Sheree Little (our convener)and our tuckshop helpers, thank-you for all of the yummy feasts and treats! We love our Tuckshop Thursdays!

15.01.2022 On Thursday, we celebrated Music Count Us In Day. We sang ‘You Won’t Bring Us Down’ at the same time as many other schools around Australia. This day is a dedicated to celebrating music education in Australian Schools. Music enriches the lives of many and it was so much fun to share this time together singing and watching other students compose, rehearse, record and play instruments. Enjoy!

Members of the Bowenville community are invited to drop off their containers for change at the back recycling depot at the back of the school. Thanks for your support. 07.01.2022 Hi Everyone! Don’t forget to put in your mango orders no later than tomorrow, the 12th of November. A tray of Bowen Mangoes is $25! Depending on size, each tray will contain between 12 and 23 mangoes. Delivery date to be advised In the week commencing the 14th of December. We just need to sell 20 more to reach the minimum order!
