14.01.2022 Nourishing bone broth Using the blade cover I’ve added: 1 roasted free range chicken carcass ... 2 carrots 2 stalks celery 4 cloves garlic 1 onion Some fresh mixed herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano, parsley and sage) 1 tablespoon black peppercorns 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar 2 bay leaves 1 tablespoon pink salt Top up to max line with filtered water Cook on slow cook mode for 8 hours at 80 degrees. Skim top of any froth and then strain. Use in soups, risottos or drink on its own

11.01.2022 Have you tried my pickled carrot recipe? It seriously is the best. Have it on your favorite sandwich, steamed bao buns or make home Vietnamese rolls! Delish Sterilise 2 large jars or up to 5 smaller jars with hot soapy water and rinse well. Depending on your carrot size use a julienne slicer (v slicer or mandolin) to slice up to 5 carrots or however many you need to tightly pack your jars. ... Once the carrots are sliced, transfer them to your varoma (bottom tray) and sprinkle 2 teaspoons of pink Murray river salt or himalayan salt and 4 teaspoons of raw brown sugar over them and use clean hands to mix well. Leave for 5 minutes then rinse well by running water through the varoma and then tightly packing the carrots into your jars. (At this point you want to be able to bend your carrots completely so the ends touch but they don't snap in the middle) Add 250g water and 350g white vinegar to thermomix bowl and cook for 5-6 mins on 100 degrees speed 1 depending on if you are using cold filtered water or tap water. The mixture needs to be hot enough to dissolve sugar. Add 120g raw sugar and mix on speed 5 for 20 seconds or until dissolved. Pour over carrots into jars and seal. Wait 24 hours before using. Will last up to 8 weeks in your fridge

11.01.2022 I am still harvesting those I cannot recommend this sauce recipe enough. It’s seriously so good and I always have it in the fridge. Leave out the cayenne if you are feeding it to the little ones and don’t be afraid to reduce the sugar by half. The sultanas add enough sweetness. 09.01.2022 New Year > New You!! CADA is a quick and easy RAW breakfast in less than 2 minutes for all Thermomix models. Coconut... Apple Dates Almonds (or nuts of choice) Throw everything into the bowl, lock the lid and turbo 3 times for half a second! Serve with greek yoghurt. Delicious!

08.01.2022 Loaves of Lockdown How good does this look!! Lauren used a crusty bread mix in the old trusty TM31 and set it to knead for 10 mins. This warm weather in Adelaide today is perfect for proving bread. Baked for 30 mins on 200 degrees and it looks like perfection to me! Well done Lauren

Cut wraps in half and stuff into a muffin pan, sprinkle a bit of cheese on the bottom, top with taco mince then more cheese on top!
