22.01.2022 Great to see a number of our ex-bowlers doing well in the Big Bash League. One of them is @ellis106, who last night on the coverage got some massive wraps from one of the greatest, @brianlaraofficial. He mentioned Nathan quite a bit and compared him to some great competitors like @andybichel371 and said his attitude, intensity and spirit was. Exactly the type of player he was looking at to play with. He said not only does he have such good skill, but he gives 100% every time... he plays, and these sort of players really lift your team. Great words from a living legend and another person that recognises how hard Ellis has worked to get where he is today and how he deserves all his successes. 21.01.2022 Congratulations to @nath.lyon421, the greatest off-spinner Australia has ever had, for playing his 100th test. Although he’s not a fast bowler, he’s a bowler and that’s all that matters to us. Who would’ve thought at the start of his career that he’d get this far - a goundskeeper from Adelaide Oval who found himself playing for Australia. 06.01.2022 One player for India that I would always have in the team is Ravindra Jadeja. He often gets left out of test matches on away tours, but we would have him in the team every time. He is a winner, whether it’s with the bat, with the ball, or being one of the best fielders in the world. Fielding is something that we don’t talk about a lot, but is a real indication of how much of a team player one is. The greatest team players spend as much time working on their fielding as they... do on their batting and bowling. Taking a great catch or saving a run in a field or getting a sharp run out can really change the momentum of the game. This doesn’t appear on your stats sheets and rarely gets you picked in teams, but is a massive part of the game. Jadeja is a world-class batsman, bowler and fields man, always creating opportunities in the game and inspiring his teammates. We would never leave him out of an Indian team.

02.01.2022 Attention all serious cricketers, With the season about to break up during the Christmas/New Year period for 2-3 weeks, it’s not a time to have a break from training. If you want to come back better than everyone else or even in good shape for cricket, you need to use your time wisely. Physically, I am suggesting 2 gym sessions, 2 bowling and throwing sessions and a minimum of 1 cricket specific speed and 1 hard cardiovascular endurance session per week. Obviously there’s yo...ur skills session in combination to this, but if you’d like to. Keep progressing, this is the minimum I’d recommend. And of course, you want to look after your mobility and flexibility during this time as well. For Jock Athletic and Bowlfit cricketers, we have our sessions on as normal. 02.01.2022 In great news, @akshatgandhi_02 has won the Jane McGrath bat signed by the very famous @glennmcgrath11. Amazing things happen in the Pink Test and on day 3 known as Jane McGrath Day, in what I’d like to call irony, Australia’s three great fast bowlers put on a magnificent performance to bowl India out on a flat deck and showing a great deal of respect to the great Glenn McGrath. We are so lucky to have these three fast bowlers and @nath.lyon421 playing for our team. We will ...miss them when they’re gone as not many teams would’ve been able to bowl India out on such a wicket on day 3 of the test. Great relentless pressure and well done. Thank you for all the entrants for the signed cricket bat, really hope you enjoy the bat!
