22.01.2022 I love pumpkin soup According to traditional Chinese Medicine pumpkin soup strengthens the Stomach and Spleen, benefits Qi and transforms phlegm. Perfect for this time of year! I roast the pumpkin with garlic, onion and parsley to benefit digestion then blend it with some vegetable stock. ... I have also added some blended soaked cashews to make it creamy because we are mostly a dairy free house.

09.01.2022 Some moxa stick safety tips Find a well ventilated area (outside is great). Avoid using moxa if you are feeling unwell or might be coming down with a cold or fever . Tear off the outer paper liner leaving the white paper inner liner intact. Light the tip of the moxa stick and blow out the flame. To achieve an evenly burning coal, hold the moxa stick over a sink and blow gently on the lit end. Make sure any embers stay contained in the sink and are extinguished. Once yo...u have an evenly burning coal, hold the moxa stick coal a comfortable distance (approx 2-3cm) away from the skin, perpendicular to the point or area you are warming. Every minute or so ash the moxa stick into a fire proof dish or the sink. When you're finished, ensure the moxa stick is properly extinguished (to avoid fire hazard ). A fireproof airtight container, fireproof dish with sand or snug candle holder are some options if you don't have a moxa extinguisher. Feel free to call or message with any questions you may have . 08.01.2022 H E R B S Traditional Chinese herbal formulas might be prescribed to support your traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture treatment. If needles are really not your thing then herbal formulas are a great alternative.

01.01.2022 Spotted these in the chemist. This acupuncture point Neiguan (PC6) is used in Chinese Medicine for many things but is an important point for treating nausea or vomiting due to any cause including pregnancy, travel sickness and side effects of chemotherapy or radiotherapy.
