25.01.2022 Believe it or not having your carpets cleaned in Winter is easier because you already have your heaters or firers going, therefore the house is warmer than it would be in summer, as we try to cool down the house in Summer. Logically winter should be better as long as the days are fine with no inclement conditions.

25.01.2022 Three cleaning days left, to book before Christmas. HOLIDAYS 21st December 2018 to 3rd January 2019.

20.01.2022 We will be working up to Wednesday 20th February, then we are having at least 2-3 weeks off. This year we are trying to slow down to preserve our health. During the year we will be traveling & enjoying the country side from a grey nomadic prospective.... So during the winter months we will be traveling to warmer climates, away from the chilly mountains.

20.01.2022 Time has expired for booking prior to Christmas!!!! We are now taking bookings for the New Year. Book early for rejuvenating the carpet after Christmas and New Year celebrations !... Wishing everyone a Joyous Christmas & A Prosperous New Year from Bowman's Clean Carpets.

13.01.2022 Who died before they collected Social Security? KEEP PASSING THIS AROUND UNTIL EVERYONE HAS HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO READ IT. THIS IS SURE SOMETHING TO THINK ABOU...T! THE ONLY THING WRONG WITH THE GOVERNMENT'S CALCULATION OF AVAILABLE SOCIAL SECURITY IS THEY FORGOT TO FIGURE IN THE PEOPLE WHO DIED BEFORE THEY EVER COLLECTED A SOCIAL SECURITY CHECK! WHERE DID THAT MONEY GO? Remember, not only did you and I contribute to Social Security but your employer did too. It totaled 15% of your income before taxes. If you averaged only $30K over your working life, that's close to $220,500. Read that again. Did you see where the Government paid in one single penny? We are talking about the money you and your employer put in a government bank to insure you and I, that we would have a retirement check from the money we put in, not the Government. Now they are calling the money we put in an entitlement when we reach the age to take it back. If you calculate the future invested value of $4,500 per year (yours & your employer's contribution) at a simple 5% interest (less than what the Government pays on the money that it borrows). After 49 years of working you'd have $892,919.98. If you took out only 3% per year, you'd receive $26,787.60 per year and it would last better than 30 years (until you're 95 if you retire at age 65) and that's with no interest paid on that final amount on deposit! If you bought an annuity and it paid 4% per year, you'd have a lifetime income of $2,976.40 per month. THE FOLKS IN WASHINGTON HAVE PULLED OFF A BIGGER PONZI SCHEME THAN BERNIE MADOFF EVER DID. Entitlement my foot; I paid cash for my social security insurance! Just because they borrowed the money for other government spending, doesn't make my benefits some kind of charity or handout!! Remember Congressional benefits? --- free healthcare, outrageous retirement packages, 67 paid holidays, three weeks paid vacation, unlimited paid sick days. Now that's welfare, and they have the nerve to call my social security retirement payments entitlements? They call Social Security and Medicare an entitlement even though most of us have been paying for it all our working lives, and now, when it's time for us to collect, the government is running out of money. Why did the government borrow from it in the first place? It was supposed to be in a locked box, not part of the general fund. Sad isn't it? 99% of people won't have the guts to SHARE this. I'm in the 1% I JUST DID!

11.01.2022 Testamonial I had all three services: carpet/rugs, car seat upholstery and lounge suite cleaned. I was impressed with the very friendly service, the great history lesson of my area and most of all the amazing clean carpets and upholstery. There were stains in that carpet that I had tried to remove and Warren and Elaine got them out. The rates were more than reasonable and they weren't in a hurry to leave. You can see the passion they both have for the service and genuinely he...lping people. Regards, Carolyn Compton Thanks again for a great experience.

03.01.2022 Hi Elaine The reason I got in touch with Warren after reading the add in the Gazette, was because I liked what I read. It was what I was looking for. When I heard Warren's voice and heard what he had to say, I still thought it was what I was looking for. Then when he came into my home and told me what he was going to do I knew that I had found the right man for the job. Then I met Elaine -- need I say more! We had a wonderful time and I ended up with a great friend and a won...derfully clean carpet..Two great friends. All highly reccomended. My carpet looks as good as new even though it is 32 years old and I had my dogs live on it with me, all those years. My last dog died one year ago. I am very happy with my carpet. Kind regards Jean
