Chapada's very good win in today's Herbert Power will see him emulate Youngstar, who ran 7th in the 2018 renewal before going to take her place in the past two Melbourne Cups. 21.01.2022 Another fantastic result for Bowness Stud today when Paradee won The TAB Wave on the Gold Coast. The 2018 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale graduate not only took home the $145,000 winner's cheque, but also a $200,000 bonus for owner Robert Anderson. It's a wonderful way to showcase our 2021 draft just a few days before this year's auction gets underway.

12.01.2022 Bowness Stud's first season sire D'Argento is relishing his new career and already has 100 mares confirmed to be in foal. As Bowness principal John North tweeted with this glorious picture Now run out of mares to cover and looking for more! It's worth pointing out that D'Argento's own sire So You Think was a mid-November foal, and that five of his 26 stakes winners were Oct/Nov foals namely Beautiful Mind (27/10), Heavenly Thought (03/11), Sopressa (31/10), Think It Over (08/11) and his highest stakes earner So Si Bon (02/10). It's food for thought for anyone still looking at their options for the 2020 breeding season.
