15.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE from the Bowral Fringe Team: Sorry for the late notice, but we won't be running the event in the 2015 Head On Photo Festival - however we'll be back in 2016 with a whole new festival!! We've been in touch with all our artists and schools from last year to let them know, and we're planning a bigger and better Bowral Fringe in 2016. Apologies to everyone planning on making it to Bowral this year - but we look forward to seeing you next year! More info to follow.........

11.01.2022 Swetik Korzeniewski is a professional artist deeply engaged in some of the biggest narratives of contemporary art. His work demands a deeper engagement and a meditative approach. His practice is a response to the visual language of the 19th and 20th century modern movement. An attempt to follow the creative arc of masters like Monet, Cezanne, Picasso, Bonnard and Matisse. Swetik’s practice is about nature and observation of natural world. The idea that nature hasn't been exh...austed as a visual inspiration. His work is a testament to the fact that there is still a rich seam of interpretation to mine. His aim is to show the world of nature afresh. We invite you to come along to the opening.

08.01.2022 One of the things I love about photography is the unexpected. While photographing a house in Kangaroo Valley I just turned around and took this shot over the dam and was pleasantly surprised when I went through all the photo's of the job.

07.01.2022 Here's the statement from all of us in the Bowral Fringe team about the cancellation of this year's Bowral Fringe: In order to concentrate on an event in 2016, we've decided to defer the 2015 Bowral Fringe Photo event this year. To fully realise our vision of a regional arts event that engages the whole community, we need to develop our long term strategy to expand it beyond the limited capacity in our current venue. Thanks to all our sponsors, artists, and the community - we look forward to letting you know the details for BFF 2016 in the next few months.
